individual body-centered psychotherapy

Suppressed memories and emotions are often locked deep inside our bodies, affecting our health and well-being. Integrating gentle touch with dialogue produces a synergistic response that can release these hidden feelings. The state of awareness that results can help bring about a profound shift, opening the way for change. At Eagle's Wing, Rob Bauer employs the Rubenfeld Synergy Method®, working with individuals on issues such as low self-esteem, depression, trauma from childhood, sexual identity, and chronic stress, among others.

group work

Group therapy for individuals and couples alike can provide an opportunity to explore and heal the hurts of past and present. In the safe environment of Eagle's Wing, we learn we are not alone and we bear witness for each other. Groups may be ongoing or topic-focused and limited in duration.

a healing process for adult relationships

Rob Bauer has extensive experience working with couples, guiding them on a journey of selfdiscovery through Imago Relationship Therapy. Couples learn new communication skills utilizing dialogue, imagination, touch, and humor. They explore how the wounds of childhood can impact their relationship and how the need to be safe and in control can lead to a power struggle. Together they learn to work with feelings of betrayal, to examine feelings around intimacy and, to honor each other in separateness and union.
